2012 ARA Athlete Funding for NRC's

for information for Alberta Athletes wishing to attend the NRC's.
Please
note: unlike years past
Development funding will be restricted to CSG aged athletes who
show an ability to compete for Alberta at the 2013 CSG or athletes
who meet the Bronze Standard on the erg and show progress in their
on-water abilities.
Adaptive Rowing - NEW VIDEO
Rowing
Canada Aviron is proud to share its new DVD that promotes the growing
sport of adaptive rowing.
The video
is approximately eight minutes long and features Canada's current
World Champion crew, the mixed adaptive 4+. It explains that adaptive
rowing can be for anyone, regardless of disability.
RCA NCCP & LTAD Update

Starting a New Rowing Club
The
updated Starting
a New Club document outlines the types of things people
need to accomplish in order to start a new rowing club. It
includes links to government documents you need to complete
and the process involved in start up a rowing club.
There are some hoops to jump through including registering as a
society, developing a constitution or bylaws, and so on. If
you are considering starting up a rowing club this is the document
you need to read. When you're ready to proceed contact our
office and we'll help walk you through the process
